Privacy
What this site does with your data
The website itself
No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, and nothing loaded from anybody else’s server. The fonts, the stylesheet, the scripts and every photograph come from this domain. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
The host, GitHub Pages, keeps ordinary server logs including IP addresses. That is outside my control and covered by GitHub’s own privacy statement.
If you get in touch
Messages sent by phone, WhatsApp or email sit in my phone and my inbox and are used for one thing: replying to you.
I keep enquiries for about two years so I can find our earlier conversation if you come back, then delete them. If we end up working together, the contract sets out separate terms covering the photographs themselves.
Your details are never sold, never added to a mailing list, and never passed to venues, planners or anybody else.
Your photographs
Photographs from your wedding are never published anywhere without your explicit written permission. Not here, not on Instagram, not in a competition entry. It is opt-in in the contract rather than opt-out, and you can withdraw it later.
Your rights
Under Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 you can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Phone or message me and I will do it. If you are in the EU or the UK, the equivalent rights under GDPR apply and I will handle the request the same way.
This notice should be reviewed by the business owner against current guidance before the site goes live, and updated if a form provider is added.
